The World Poetry Cafe Radio Show and hosts Ariadne Sawyer and Alejandro Mujica-Olea welcomed Michael Morris for an evening of poetry, songs and thanks to the World Poetry Family for giving their support and prayers. He also wanted to thank the World Poetry Prayer and Mediation Circle ( group of people from different religions and countries) for their support and to share the good health news about his wife. Montana King
Artist and entrepreneur Montana King showing her new whale calendar.
Montana King is an artist, poet and photographer. As part of an extensive whale project, she has produced a 2012 calendar ( below ) about a Beluga whale named Kavana who lives at the Vancouver Aquarium, in Vancouver, BC. Canada. Each month depicts another of her fascinating whale Tales. The cost is $20 and $2 goes to Kavana for her outstanding performances. Montana’s Whale Project includes art cards, sculpture, earrings, a silk screen and extensive studies on the limbic system and how we all connect. Part of the project is called the “Unchained Ghosts”, the other part is called “The Chained” which has many facets on drug addiction and trauma.
