A poem by Palma Mingozzi:

A thought before you go.

What’s in a drop of rain

And in an everlasting day?

I don’t know how you feel

but I can see a reflection

Of your need held in the arms

Of a pine tree

That droplet you see

Is a part of me

Sparkling and clean

Made up of dreams and melancholy

Resting on the hope

That you are looking back at me

And thinking the same thing

 (C) Palma Mingozzi
