The World Poetry Cafe Radio Show with hosts Lucia Gorea and Alejandro Mujica-Olea welcomed World Poetry Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, award winning artist , poet and board member Peter Lojewski for a special program about the life and work of World Poetry Lifetime Achievement Award Winner poet and lawyer Dugald Christie. Christie often wrote poems about the justice system and presented them to lawyers and judges. One of his published books, A Journey into Justice described his trip to Ottawa, Ontario to burn his robes in protest. It also contains many poems.
Thanks to Peter for the above article.
Unfortunately, Dugald was killed by a van on his second trip to Ottawa to protest another injustice. He was also planning to bike through China the following year and was studying Chinese. I would like to thank him for our friendship and his work for justice for all.

I never knew the man, but I always champion a person striving to end injustices. May Dugald rest in peace and pass us great strength through his spirit to continue fighting injustices. Thank you, Dugald!
Thank you so much. He was and is a wonderful man.
