Ariadne’s note: We are honoured to work with such an amazing group and to create a such a special event. We also want to thank Alan Hill from the City of Richmond for his tremedous work  for the 150 of Tagore.  Many others such as the Jasmine Dance Club and the consulates from India and Korea have added their moral support and work. World Poets from around the world have sent good wishes  and love. We are  blessed to have such a loving, respectful and positive  world community.

I would like to share my poem for the 150th of Tagore in Spanish and English.

Tagore, 150

Hemos creado,
sacado de la nada
un homenaje a tu vida,
una escultura de palabras,
música y danza,

tallado por las ideas
en forma de compromiso
en forma de cooperación
y amor.

Esta obra de arte es para ti
inmortal Tagore,
¡Bienvenidos!

Tagore, 150th

We have created,
Brought forth from the void
A living tribute
A sculpture of words

Music and dance
Hewn by ideas
Shaped by commitment
Shared co-operation
And love.

This work of art is for you
Immortal Tagore

Welcome!
