YEŞİM AĞAOĞLUI:
Born in Istanbul.Studied University Of Istanbul, Department Of Archaeology and Art History.Master of arts degree at the University of Istanbul, Faculty Of Communications, Department of Radio-TV-Cinema .Attended a part time film lessons using super 8 camera at the New York School Of Visual Arts and these lessons has resulted in a short film called “Loneliness, Machines And Meditation”.
Poems have been published in literary journals since the age of 18.Has seven poetry books published in Turkey and also two poetry books published in Azerbaijan in Russian language. A member of the PEN International Writers’ Club and also a board member of BESAM.( Creators of Scientific and Literary Works Association) Used to be a board member of the PEN Writers at banishment and PEN Turkish Women Writers Committee.
Biographies are in some literature and art encyclopedias and poems in some anthologies.A participant of the numerous international poetry festivals.
Has been continuing contemporary art activities combining different disciplines since 1996.She participated exhibitions in such countries like Germany, Norway, Italy, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Korea, etc.

Yesin Agoaglu writes: I was invited to Bangladesh,Dakka for the World Poetry Day Celebration and there I visited Tagore’s grave,for me ıt was a wonderful experience and I just want to tell you this.” She submited this poem for the 150 years of Tagore Display in Richmond, BC, Canada.
Sleeping Poet
Poet sleeping
Stretched out on the grass
His hat askew on his brow
Poet asleep, his hands on his throat
His house and trees are sleeping too
The sun making ready to leave
Only images are awake now
Dark blue horses, winged ballerinas
The violin-bodied man, the harp playing, bird woman and the pauper king.
Now the poet is astride and image horse
The park as wide as can be
And as rich as it gets
The chateau splendid, the trees giant-sized, his hat on his brow, hands on hips, the poet is smiling now.

uyuyan ozan
çimenlere uzanmış uyuyan oza
şapkası yana kaymış
elleri boğazında uyuyan ozan
ağaçlar ve evi de uyuyorlar
güneş gitme hazırlıklarında
uyanık olan yalnızca imgeler
lacivert atlar kanatlı balerinler
keman vücutlu adam arp çalan kuş kadın
ve fakir kral
imge bir atın üzerinde şimdi ozan
alabildiğine uzun alan alabildiğine zengin şatosu muhteşem dev ağaçlar şapkası başında elleri belinde gülümsüyor ozan*
