Sepehr  Hojjaty was  born  in Tehran,  Iran.  He and his family migrated to Canada in 2006. He began learning music with private lessons in Iran where he was inspired by Master Vahik Sahakian. He took music classes in school in Canada where he focused seriously on violin lessons, and worked hard at mastering the instrument with private training.

After a few years of playing violin, at age 16 he began to compose his own music, inspired by classical music masters. He graduated from Carson Graham secondary in 2011, and entered the music program at Capilano U in 2012.

From a young age, Sepehr admired how master symphonic conductors so beautifully coordinated many other musicians and produced such magnificent harmonies of sound.

Sepehr’s passion for Iranian classical music encouraged him to more profoundly understand that art. He has an immense desire to learn music, play and compose.
