Ray Hsu
Ray Hsu is a rockstar who happens to write books. Ray is the author of Anthropy (winner of the Gerald Lampert Award) and Cold Sleep Permanent Afternoon. At last count he has published over a hundred and twenty-five poems in over forty journals internationally. He taught writing for over two years in a US prison. He now teaches at the University of British Columbia, where he collaborates across disciplines, districts, and dinner tables. Catch him at thewayofray.com

World Poetry Cafe Radio Show Hosts Ariadne Sawyer and Lucia Gorea welcomed Ray to the radio show on April 26th. Host Alejandro Mujica-Olea was ill and could not attend.
Dr. Ray Hsu was representing our two honoured partners Ricepaper Magazine and the Canadian Asian Writers Workshop at the World Poetry International Festival as well as reading his own beautiful and unique poetry. We would like to thank Ray for becoming a member of the World Poetry Cafe Radio Show and helping to keep us on the air!
