Featured Poet on the World Poetry Cafe: Jude Neale

Jude Neale’s first book of poetry is called The Perfect Word Collapses. She has been featured frequently with Ascent Aspirations Magazine, was recently awarded an honourable mention for her short story submission in their 2010 winter edition, and will have her work published in The Antigonish Review in the coming months. Jude has just completed her second book of poetry, Only The Fallen Can See, which will be released by Leaf Press in the spring of 2011

This collection explores and chronicles the compelling journey of a mother, wife, teacher and poet struggling with bipolar illness.
     When Jude isn’t writing, she is giving vocal concerts, where she enjoys sharing her rich mezzo-soprano voice with others.

 She lives with her partner, three cats, and a princess of a dog on a small island near Vancouver, Canada
