Love Laden Heart
I love her
She does not know
Does she love me
I do not know.
An unraveled mystery
It is.
But my love
That is eternal
And the mystery
If she loves me
Whets my curiosity
And elations
Which are unilateral
Exalt with every rise of the Sun
Love swells in my heart
In nights bright with full moon
Or endowed
With countless stars
My fancies centre
Her thoughts
The sublime love,
And her images
Of varying moods
Her smiles, her grimace
Revealing her curiosities
Give me unfathomable delight.
Love Laden Heart

There is a sad yet hopeful air about the poem. The energy derives from the lover’s delight in beholding his beloved inspite of not knowing whether she reciprocates his feelings or not.
