This has been a great success with an outpouring of poems from the public and all the wonderful poets who e-mailed their poems from all over the world. Great volunteers and lots of love and good feelings. The library was also very supportive. Monday, February 14th, the poems will travel downstairs and appear at the World Poetry 10th Gala at 6 pm. Thank you all!

Since 1968 our Chairman is working for the benifit of the poets and writers.In 1975 Dr Ghose was Secretary of All India National poets congress. He is first editor who has published poems of Est Pakistan & West Bengal, Namely KABI KANTHO EPER BANGLA OPER BANGLA. Dr Ghose is now the founder and chairman Of Academy of Bengali Poetry. In the year 2006 at National Library of India, Kolkata and Acadmy of Bengali Poetry jointly celebrate International Friendship Day. A few poets from Europian country has taken part in this saminer.
