World Poetry Gala Call for Poems for the World Poetry 10th Anniversary Gala at the Vancouver Public Library (Central branch)
The World Poetry Reading Series together with our partners, the Vancouver Public Library will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of our partnership, February 14th, 7 pm at the Vancouver Public Library, 350 West Georgia, St. Vancouver, BC, Canada.
We are inviting you to send poems from around the world for the interactive The Power of Love display at the library in the literature section.
- Theme: The Power of Love.
- One page poem, font 12.
- Include your name and a copy right symbol. One time copy write only.
- Deadline for poems: January 10th .
- The selected 30 poems will be printed up and put on display from February 7-14th. A World Poetry Volunteer will also be in attendance each day to help the public at the “Create a Poem” table. Selection will be on a first come basis.*

Pleased to come across more of Hadaa Sendoo’s poems. I am grateful to him for including my poems in the World Poetry Almanac in 2008 and 2010.
I have translated a series of his poems into Lithuanian with publications in a cultural journal Nemunas (published in Kaunas, Lithuania).
