DREAMS OF A VILLAGE BOY

When our feet befriend the ground
We shall touch the earth
and mark our foreheads with the sand of our prints

When our feet have learned to walk
we shall not perch as the Eagle
to meet untimely wounds
and strikes from the heavy rains
We shall fly above the clouds
to run our feathers from the cold strife
of deaths trial

When our might marries the strength of the wind
We shall defeat the Trojans
with the will power of the gods
so as to tame their existence
from the hymns of the living

We shall be called Conquerors
by the mother of history
should our eyes see beyond the distant farmhouse
when all is said and done.

Dancing in the Sky (1)

Every time I look above in the sky
I always see you very very high
Dancing for all the world and so for me
Expressing your spirit totally free

Came as the star of orient to be near
To dance sweet melody I could hear
That’s flowing like blue river in my heart
Right from the beginning, right from the start

You dance so gracefully  like the angel
Flowing the wings that no-one could excel
Flowing the movements in rhythmic sweet tones
In the harmony with the cosmic zones

You dance in the sky gentle like warm breeze
Like perfect acrobat with poise and ease
You dance  on the stage and in my dreams too
In beautiful costumes in red and blue

So expressive so elegant motions
Only you do create loving notions
That all the world can seek and admire
How great you dance  with passion and fire

My we all dance with you together
The same rhythm, same tempo forever
Until we get full exhilaration
All over the world, over each nation

HOMECOMING Anita Aguirre-Nieveras

Eager was I for the warmth of the sun,
For the brillance of the stars;
For the peaceful wafting of the Eastern breeze,
For the smooth flowing of the blue tide at my homecoming.

Yet, no warmth I felt from the sun.
The stars drab and gloomy up there
and the hostile breeze harsh in its passing
as the dark tide fiercely roared my homecoming.

On its path the years have etched a seal of minds and hearts hard as stone.
The wounded earth is rough with scars.
Nothing is ever the same again.

Could I turn back the tides of time,
Or re-write the stars’ brilliance once again
Or tame the soul of the new fierce wind
and rekindle the old and lukewarm sun?

My home will stay as it is now.
Fate, I’ll leave to its own natural course
what is in store for me, I shall yet see
If ever I will still come back for another homecoming.

World Poetry Ambassador to Poland:

Lui  Porc was born in Poland , but he has lived in Canada most of his life. Being exposed to a great diversity and mobility – including the traveling around the world – he has learnt how beautiful our universe is, especially when we live in peace, harmony, and prosperity. He is educated in international business, science, and… of course, the arts. Lui likes writing poetry, stone sculpture and jewellery making the most.   It is ecstatic to create with love, to write poetry, especially the poetry about love – be it in the past, the present, or the future; the actual, the prayer, or just a dream -they are all fantastic reality. Volunteer and long time supporter.

YOU ARE THE CREATOR

You created  a happy baby
To grow and bloom to shine maybe
Like the sun star in the future
As an adult bright and mature

On birth giving like a miracle
 You have conquered great obstacles
To bring new life out of your own
Happy new life to be well known

Happy new life for new being
With good guidance and good steering
The best wishes for your starlet
May all your dreams shall be now met

Omnipotent , omnipresent

You just labored golden present
Out of ovum like a miracle
No man ever dreams to tackle

Glory, glory, and ovation
Only you could build new nation
Full of love to love great culture
Truly living – not just sculpture

Glory, glory, as you woman
Only you can, only you can
Make us happy to live fully
With your beauty, to say truly

You are only one creator
 In multitude and metaphor
Of your grace – no words can be told…
Live the life to love your new world

Lui Porc (C)
